Our mission at Mountainside Montessori School is to provide a beautiful, rural environment for children to develop their own joy of learning and self-confidence. We give children the time, the Guides, and the environment to develop at their own pace, in their own way.
Our school is recognized by AMI (Association Montessori International) and all of our Guides are trained to maintain the high level of excellence that Maria Montessori envisioned.
We connect students with nature. Each classroom features its own garden, and students grow flowers and vegetables and help raise chickens and pigs.
Our adolescent students have internships to prepare them for adulthood and future careers.
We have a drama program, and the students perform their productions for the public.
